Overview
Centre Stage Engineering is a leading force in the stage engineering industry, delivering innovative mechanical solutions to performance spaces across the UK and beyond. You will work closely with clients, our in-house Design Engineers, and the Production and Installation teams to deliver stage engineering systems from concept through to completion. You will play a key role in the coordination, management, and successful delivery of multiple live projects—on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Responsibilities
* Taking ownership of project delivery from handover to completion
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to develop solutions and manage expectations
* Coordinating with internal departments (Design, Production, Procurement)
* Preparing and managing project documentation, schedules, and budgets
* Overseeing installations on-site, including site surveys and contractor coordination
* Attending and contributing to client meetings and site inspections
* Supporting health and safety planning and compliance throughout project phases
Qualifications
* Experience working in a project engineering or project management role
* Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, or other similar 3D modelling software
* Experience in mechanical engineering
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
* A practical and flexible approach to problem-solving
* A full UK driving licence
* Experience using Revit
* Familiarity with NEC or SBCC contract formats
* CSCS card or site management qualifications

* The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines
* A proactive attitude and desire to see projects succeed
* A willingness to be hands-on and visit sites as required
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
