About the role
Vision for Education Midlands is recruiting a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher for a long-term supply role in a highly regarded secondary school in Sutton Coldfield. This position is available immediately and will continue until the end of the summer term, offering consistency and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ progress.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable)
2. Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum
3. Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities and learning needs
4. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
5. Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive classroom environment
This is a long-term supply teaching role, ideal for teachers seeking stability without a permanent contract.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school
8. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for raising attainment in Maths
9. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
10. A commitment to safeguarding and supporting student wellbeing
