Field Service Engineer – Industrial Presses Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 Overtime Benefits We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support the servicing and maintenance of industrial press machinery for a long-established engineering business. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work with robust, high-value equipment across a range of customer sites. The Role Carry out planned servicing, breakdown response, and preventative maintenance on industrial presses Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults Install and commission new and refurbished machinery Provide technical advice and support to customers on-site Complete service reports, risk assessments and job documentation Travel to customer sites across the Midlands and wider UK, with occasional overnight staysThe Ideal Candidate Background as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Technician within heavy engineering or industrial machinery Experience with presses, CNC, hydraulics or similar equipment is highly advantageous Confident fault-finding skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitude Full UK driving licence essentialWhat’s on Offer £37,000 – £45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience Paid overtime and travel time Company vehicle, fuel card, tools and PPE provided Pension scheme, holiday allowance and additional benefits Structured training and support from an experienced engineering team Long-term job security within a stable and growing business
