GAP Plastics currently has an opportunity for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the business covering the Kent region.
As Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for increasing sales activity in the Kent region covering areas from Tonbridge, Northfleet, Croydon and Maidstone as well as being hands on when it comes to expansion within the business, including being hands on for new depot openings.
Within the role, you will be selling varied UPVC Roofline, cladding and rainwater systems, windows and doors, aluminium bi-folds and Rockdoor. Experience / product knowledge is desired however, training opportunities could be offered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a proven sales strategy, strong negotiation skills and a drive to assist with furthering the development of our planned depot expansion.
Main Duties:
* Build a network of partners and customers to maximise depot sales through all channels.
* Engagement and development of your depot teams
* Actively promote new innovative product by identifying solutions to unsolved customer and industry challenges.
* Produce reliable monthly forecasts.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and KPIs.
* Oversee depot sales and monitor all sales within your region.
Skills and experience required
Previous experience in selling construction related products is ideal but not mandatory.
* Direct new business/sales account management experience within the construction and building products sector. Ideally with a proven track record of selling fascia, soffit, guttering, drainage systems and associated roofline products.
* You should be driven and have the enthusiasm to hunt out and close new business sales, whilst also building effective relationships to grow an existing portfolio of repeat customers.
* Willingness to travel.
