Teachmatch Recruitment is currently seeking a candidate or candidates with a sporting background to work with a number of different schools in the Gloucester. The skills and life lessons developed through sports can be highly transferable to a role in education, and we’re excited to see the positive impact you can bring as a Sport and Behaviour mentor.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Sport and Behaviour mentor:
• Support and assist students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Engage young people in education through non-traditional methods.
• Implement behaviour support plans and strategies to encourage positive actions.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but candidates with a background in sport or education are encouraged to apply.
• A genuine desire to support students in reaching their full potential.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a positive impact on young lives.
• A responsive and caring approach to student needs.
