Business Services Team Leader – Cafcass
We are recruiting for the Business Services Team Leader role covering the London, Croydon, Maidstone, and Brighton areas.
In this role you will lead the administrative support team for our local Family Court Advisors and Service Managers, ensuring efficient case management and support.
Responsibilities
* Monitor case progression and ensure timely updates
* Receive referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team and log them in the case management system
* Create, update, and close cases within the system
* Send letters and information packs to service users
* Identify missing information and follow up as required
* Receive and deal with telephone enquiries
* Meet and greet visitors, including service users
* Provide general administrative support to the team and service users
Qualifications
* A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g., NVQ2) or equivalent experience in a similar role
* Confident using MS Office applications to a basic/intermediate level
* Clear, confident communicator via email, phone and in person
* Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
* Able to prioritise work in a fast‑moving environment with strict deadlines
