We are looking for Housekeepers to support care homes across Littlehampton, Worthing and surrounding areas.
Your role:
As a Housekeeper in a care environment, your work is essential in protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents and staff.
* Deliver high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Follow strict infection control procedures, including safe use of cleaning supplies and PPE
* Ensure all areas are clean, sanitised, and well-presented
* Help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for residents
* Provide friendly interaction, offering companionship and reassurance where appropriate
* Report any concerns or changes in residents' wellbeing to the care team
Requirements
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of cleaning standards within healthcare settings
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
* Completion of competency checks and Enhanced DBS clearance
