Estate Supervisor
Location: Cumberland Infirmary - Carlisle
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Estate Supervisor to oversee the delivery of all maintenance services across our site. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape service excellence, drive operational performance, and make a real difference every day.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Lead and inspire a team of engineers and subcontractors to deliver efficient, high-quality services.
2. Ensure all work meets contractual KPIs and financial targets.
3. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver services professionally and cost-effectively.
4. Provide accurate reporting and play a key role in supporting audits across quality, health & safety, environment, and finance.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a technically strong leader with:
5. Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing operational spend.
6. Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
7. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Confidence in handling escalations, driving continuous improvement, and promoting QHSE best practices.

9. Customer-focused with a “can-do” attitude and eye for detail.
10. Able to prioritise under pressure and solve problems pragmatically.
11. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to encourage and embed the right behaviours across the team.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
12. Experience in a technical estates or facilities management environment
13. Previous supervisory or team leader experience
