You will be joining a high-profile Tier 1 civil engineering contractor co-delivering a major clean water pipeline in East Anglia. Theirmitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Site Engineer to join their delivery team.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the Cambridgeshire area.
Your new role
As Site Engineer, you will be a key part of the delivery team working on a major section of the project in Cambridgeshire. You will support the successful setting‑out, quality control and technical delivery of pipeline works, ensuring activities arepleted safely, accurately and in line with the programme.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Setting out for pipeline installation, earthworks and associated civils
2. Managing quality checks, as‑built records and technicalpliance
3. Supporting the Site Agent with daily engineering and construction activities
4. Liaising with subcontractors, surveyors and design teams
5. Ensuring worksply with health, safety and environmental standards
6. Contributing to problem‑solving and continuous improvement on site.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
7. A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar qualification) or experience equivalent
8. Proven experience as a Site Engineer within heavy civils, ideally in the water industry
9. Strong setting-out skills using GPS and total station equipment
10. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strongmunication skills
11. A valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
