Pearly Cow is an independent collection of grill restaurants in York, Margate and Brighton, were we serve up the most indulgent cuts of meat and the freshest fish in gorgeous settings, where you'll feel right at home. Our kitchen is fast-paced, passionate, and just a little bit fiery (in the best way). This is a full time permanent role (45 hours per week) What you'll bring doing: Support our Head Chef in leading a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen Take charge of service, keeping things smooth, sharp, and sizzling Mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff - because great food starts with great people Help shape the menu with seasonal, bold, and locally inspired ideas Maintain top-tier hygiene, organisation, and calm under pressure (even when the grill's on fire - metaphorically) What you'll bring to the table: A sharp knife and even sharper skills A skilled chef with experience in a senior kitchen role Passionate about food, flavours, and leading by example Calm, confident, and ready to take the reins when needed Looking for a role where your creativity and leadership are truly valued A sense of humour and a love for York's history and culture.
