Funding against business assets such as receivables, plant & machinery, inventory, and property provides a flexible, fast, and efficient way to pursue new business opportunities for objectives including growth, acquisition, turnaround, and expansion. We offer funding between £500,000 and £25,000,000 to SME businesses aiming to scale up and grow. We also provide cash flow loans and export-based receivables financing.

Responsibilities

* Ownership of debt verifications, ensuring they are completed in line with credit expectations for new business and existing clients.
* Manage the administration of ledgers, credit control, collection activities, and allocations, with ownership of the following:
* Active and accurate credit control and cash allocations for factoring facilities within the portfolio.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for a portfolio of factoring clients.
* Maintain thorough records and provide feedback and reporting to clients, their customers, and internal teams.
* Deliver high-quality service to clients.
* Oversee the maintenance of collateral funded by CBF.
* Understand CBF’s and the Bank’s products and proactively identify sales opportunities to meet customer needs.
* Adhere to AML policies and procedures, maintaining vigilance over customer and debtor conduct.


Essential Knowledge & Experience

* Experience in the ABL industry.
* Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable roles.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in accounting packages and Excel.
* Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism in handling difficult conversations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
