Job Description: Mechanically fitting and preparation work on a variety of modules, Lathes and Machining Centres. Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines. Actively engage with all company Quality Control initiatives. Follow written procedures and detailed checklists. Support weekly production plan. Ensure quality gateways are complete to the highest standard. Provide on the job training. Person Specification: Essential Criteria: Previous Mechanical, Fitting or Assembly Experience is preferred. Ability to work to a good quality standard and use hand tools (powered and non-powered). Ability to work within a close team. Be able to read and work drawings. Strong communication skills working closely with Team Leaders and Supervisors. Team player who can work to build schedule and deadlines. Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work. Have a positive attitude and be able to build relationships within the team. Desirable Criteria: Work within a positive close-knit team. Receive high quality training from experienced personnel. Pay for the role is £14.65 per hour and the pay rate includes shift allowance. Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time. The hours are a rotational shift pattern, which are: AM Shift - 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday then onto the PM Shift. PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday is 2:00pm - 8:00pm.
