Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to kick-start your career in education or child development? A supportive school in Booker, High Wycombe (HP12) is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with pupils who have special educational needs, while making a real difference in their academic and personal growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs
Implement strategies to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored interventions
Track progress and adapt support to meet individual needs
Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Who We’re Looking For:
A Psychology graduate (or related field) with a strong interest in child development and SEN
Empathetic, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learners
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential
