About the Company:
Our client is a well-established leader in the UK’s clean energy sector, delivering solar PV, battery storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across public and private sectors. They focus on operational excellence and sustainability, driving the transition to a zero-carbon future.
The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide escalation support for critical faults and oversee reactive maintenance to ensure high network uptime.
* Manage the annual PPM schedule and support complex issues for reliable operations.
* Identify regional coverage gaps, recruit and onboard subcontractors, negotiate terms, and lead performance reviews.
* Enhance field operations through route optimisation, workflow redesign, and admin/mileage reduction.
* Report on charger usage and fault trends to inform service improvements.
* Implement digital tools including ticketing systems, mobile workforce platforms, and helpdesk software.
* Line-manage a team of O&M coordinators and junior engineers, including performance reviews, coaching, and training.
* Own the O&M P&L, set budgets, approve POs, and monitor financial performance.
* Require 3+ years' experience managing multi-site field service or maintenance operations (EV charging, utilities, fibre, telecoms, or similar).
* Proven success in managing internal teams and subcontractors.
* Experience implementing digital service platforms (e.g., CMMS, helpdesk, route-planning tools).
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
* Electrical training or qualifications.
* IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Experience with public-sector frameworks or clients.
* Strong data analysis and insight-driven mindset.
If you're an operational leader ready to take on a dynamic role at the heart of the UK’s EV infrastructure rollout, we’d love to hear from you.
