We have an exciting opportunity for an Inpatient Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Moorland, a men's category C Prison and young offender institution located in South Yorkshire.
This role works alongside the Clinical Lead and oversees clinical ownership for the unit. Development of a prescribing course could be offered, and the environment offers free parking, low staff turnover, wellbeing days, strong relationships and partnerships.
Hours
37.5 hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Salary
Full‑time, up to £58,012 per annum FTE – depending on experience.

Responsibilities
* Liaise external stakeholders to develop pathways that prevent patients having to attend outside hospital, including end of life care and acute care.
* Line management responsibilities.
* Assist with the development of patients' medical plans of care, line‑manage a team of healthcare practitioners ensuring that they are supported and appraised.
* Promote safe patient care.
* Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications
* Registered nurse with current professional qualification.
* Clinical oversight experience to develop the unit, working alongside the Head of Healthcare.
* Leadership experience / staff line management.
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good IT skills and IT literacy.
* Ability to work within a busy environment.
* Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
