Job Description:
Grid-scale Battery Storage (BESS) & High Voltage (HV)
Location: Durham - onsite every day
This is a key delivery role, responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating internal and external teams, and ensuring safe, timely, and commercially sound project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead mobilisation, on-site construction, and project handover for grid-connected energy projects
* Manage subcontractors and site teams to deliver in line with NEC3/FIDIC contracts
* Ensure health & safety, quality, and compliance across all phases
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
* Oversee site progress and reporting aligned with project governance and commercial goals
* Support internal teams to ensure designs, budgets, and programmes are maintained
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven track record in construction management for HV, BESS, or infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of NEC3, FIDIC or similar construction contracts
* Confident managing subcontractors and leading multi-disciplinary site teams
* Commercial awareness and experience navigating contractual obligations
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Knowledge of CDM and relevant health & safety legislation
