Job Summary
Due to ongoing growth, Corrigenda is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated electrical supervisor to oversee a broad range of planned and reactive electrical tasks across our contracts based in Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and East Sussex.
This role is a hybrid role, where your time will be spent Supervising your Team and managing the Internal and External Customers expectations. The expectation will be that your time will be spent in the field and in the office.
The work will be predominantly in commercial properties in the education, private & public sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
• Responsible for monitoring of certification and compliance with all necessary regulations
ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
• Process quotes to client for electrical remedials works including EICR’s.
• Work flexible hours to suit business requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and public at all times.
• Ability to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations. • To collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas.
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources.
• Manage labour and resource allocation and planning for reactive works ensuring SLAs are achieved.
• Attend operational site meetings and client meetings as required.
• Undertake tools and equipment asset auditing.
• Order materials and request purchase orders.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
• Qualified Electrician
• Qualified Supervisor Experience
• High knowledge and experience of the BS7671 and Guidance note 3
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in health & safety with the ability to create site specific RAMs.
• The ability to satisfy enhanced DBS checks that will be required for this role.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Resilient and resourceful
• Personable, proactive and able to build rapport at all levels.
• Able to offer solutions to problems that have been identified.
• Excellent people management skills.
• IT literate.
• A full UK driving licence.
Desirable
• Experience in a similar role and working sectors.
• Prior experience with working directly with clients.
• AP Experience
