The Role of the Field Service and Installation Engineer
14. Our client sells hospital & dental products in designated sales area for niche therapy area's: ENT, Gynaecology, Forensic, dental chairs & microscopes
15. Mostly stack systems such as imaging equipment, panel equipment, microscopes, endoscopes, light sources, cameras, etc
16. You will service and install all products in the London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Essex region of England.
17. There will be times where you will have to travel further afield to support the business and also do some repairs in the workshop
18. Supporting all customer requirements with installation, repair and servicing of all equipment.
19. After sales support.
20. Support the sales team.
21. Requirement to travel with periodic overnight stay
The Ideal Person for the Field Service and Installation Engineer
22. Qualified to HND/HNC or degree standard in electronics and/or engineering, or equivalent discipline, with the ability to adapt to technical situations.
23. EBME Engineer or Military Engineering backgrounds have been very successful
24. Will look at any equipment background
25. Ability to use, install and configure software.
26. Good health, physically capable of carrying out service and installation duties.
27. Self-motivated.
28. Full driving licence.
29. Strong IT literacy.
30. Strong customer service and commercial skills.
