Rota: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00am–4:00pm | Tuesday 8am - 4.Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver a creative and flexible curriculum with a strong therapeutic and trauma-informed approach. You will plan, assess, and deliver learning across all subjects, focusing on practical, engaging lessons that support both personal and academic development.
Deliver high-quality, individualised teaching for pupils with autism and associated needs
Adapt lesson plans to meet a wide range of learning abilities and EHCP requirements
Set high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils
Promote progress and outcomes in both academic and social development
You will also play an active role in the wider school community, supporting safeguarding, daily operations, and school development initiatives.
We are looking for teachers who are:
Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS), ideally with experience in SEN or autism-specific settings
Skilled in adapting teaching for pupils with autism and complex needs
Committed to promoting wellbeing, safety, and inclusion in all aspects of school life
Flexible, resilient, and proactive, ready to help shape a brand-new learning environment
Passionate about therapeutic, pupil-centred education

Bradford Beacon School, opened in September 2025, is a brand-new specialist independent school for children aged 4–11 with autism and associated complex needs. Set in a purpose-built, thoughtfully refurbished environment, the school provides a safe, nurturing, and inclusive setting where every child feels valued. Pupils follow a broad, enriched curriculum that develops communication, social, emotional, and life skills alongside academic achievement. With personalised teaching and therapeutic support from a dedicated staff and clinical team, every child’s individual needs are met. As the school grows to 42 pupils over the next two years, there is an exciting opportunity to help shape its inclusive, supportive culture.
