The roles:
Our client are recruiting for two Reinsurance Operations Assistants to join the team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent. These roles offer excellent exposure to the London Reinsurance Market and potential opportunities in other departments.
The roles will support multiple teams and be responsible for all aspects of triaging and processing related to reinsurance transactions in their risk and accounting systems, and will support the workflow of the cash and proportional teams. The role may pivot across teams based on business needs.
Working closely with the Underwriting and Finance team, as part of the Operations team, the role's main responsibilities are:
* Working with various teams to resolve issues related to triaging, accounts and cash.
* Provide regular updates to team and managers.
* Assist in creating efficiencies and value creation (review existing processing and propose updates/changes as appropriate).
* Participate in any special projects or ad hoc tasks that may be required by either Internal or external parties.
* Ensure all functions are carried out with a high degree of quality, in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Very keen to speak to recent Graduates, College leavers or people with some re/insurance experience who are available quite quickly for an FTC position.
* A consistently good level of education/grades.
* Strong computer skills (Excel, Word).
* Collaborative, enthusiastic problem solvers, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Someone with good attention to detail and who can manage multiple tasks, in a busy role.
