Overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysisManaging month-end processes to ensure everything's on time, accurate, and audit-readyDelivering reliable financial statements aligned with UK accounting standardsMaintaining rolling cash flow forecasts and tracking working Collaborating closely with operational leads to monitor costs and drive profitabilityReporting directly to the Financial ControllerManaging all statutory and tax obligations - Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, and filingsActing as the main contact for external advisors and accountantsStrengthening financial controls and helping to shape internal policiesProviding strategic insights and financial recommendations to senior leadershipImplementing and managing ERP systems as part of wider operational improvementsLeading and mentoring a small finance team, and overseeing Payroll, VAT, and Management AccountsHandling commercial insurances and supporting other business-critical activities
Profile
* Strong experience in SME finance leadership
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Advanced Microsoft excel skills
* Proven ability to manage the finance function independently
* Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software
* Commercially minded, proactive, and confident communicator
Job Offer
£70,000 - £90,000
Pro rata, 2 - 3 days in office (fully officed based for those days)
