About the role:
Our community pharmacies play a key part in caring for the health and wellbeing of our customers and members. Our Pharmacy Warehouse team are integral part of keeping our Pharmacies fully stocked and ready to provide our customers and members with the health products that they need. None of this would be possible without our dedicated Delivery Pharmacy Administrative Assistants, who actively contribute to achieving great results and maintain high standards every day. As part of this hardworking and supportive team, you’ll carry out tasks such as:
1. Accurately inputting deliveries and managing schedules to ensure timely and efficient home delivery service.
2. Handling controlled drugs and fridge deliveries safely, in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GDP regulations.
3. Picking, packing, and preparing vehicle deliveries with correct labelling and secure packaging.
4. Liaising with Drivers, Pharmacy Staff, and patients to manage failed deliveries and resolve issues quickly.
5. Maintaining accurate records, supporting smooth coordination, and upholding patient confidentiality, dignity, and safety.
6. Assisting with additional duties to support the wider pharmacy home delivery and administration team.

About You
Are you someone who takes pride on a job well done when working accurately in a fast-paced environment? Then we’d love to hear from you! We’re not just looking for previous experience (though that would be a fantastic bonus), we’re interested in you and what you can bring to the role! You’ll need to show us:
7. Excellent attention to detail when processing documentation, data entry and order handling.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams and patients.
9. Good understanding of confidentiality and data protection, especially relating to medical information.
10. An ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
11. Confident using delivery tracking systems, Microsoft Office and standard administrative software.
