We are currently recruiting for a SEN Science Teacher on behalf of a specialist partner school in Sunderland.
The school supports pupils with Autism, SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties through small class sizes, personalised learning plans and therapeutic interventions.
The Role:
* Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
* Adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs
* Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Delivering engaging and practical learning experiences
* Promoting confidence and independence in learners
* Working closely with support staff and leadership teams
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* SEN or alternative provision experience desirable
* Ability to differentiate effectively
* Positive and resilient attitude
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
Interviews will take place ahead of the summer holidays with the opportunity for a permanent contract available for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
