HR Director / International Consultancy / Hybrid working – 2 days in central London offices / Competitive package
The HR Director will be joining an international consultancy that provides HR services to a range of global clients, focusing on IT and tech‑focused customers. The role is instrumental in aligning HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. The HR Director will develop and direct an HR agenda that supports and drives overarching business goals, bridging the gap between on‑ground HR teams and the C‑suite mission. As a strategic partner to the C‑suite, this individual will provide trusted guidance on people strategy and organisational priorities. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Director of HR will take full accountability for the performance and leadership of the HR function, oversee the planning, development and execution of HR policies, initiatives and team performance, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s people agenda.
Responsibilities
* Support the development, implementation and management of HR strategies, including policies and practices in line with the company Global strategy
* Support C‑suite with HR strategies – liaise and work with a diverse team of high‑performing executive directors, senior directors and professionals
* Manage, coach and mentor HR staff, coordinate staff development plans and performance management
* Manage HR employee wellness, motivating and evaluating HR workforce needs
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in multiple countries
* Stay up‑to‑date with best practices in managing human resources
* Facilitate recruitment requirements and stay informed of trends to be competitive and creative with HR practices
* Develop training and development programmes and initiatives, maintain employee relations and observe team dynamics
* Improve relations between employees and management, develop yearly HR agenda, monitor productivity, structure compensation and benefit package
* Provide regular performance data and reports and act as an inspiring team player
* Perform any other HR related functions as required
Requirements
* Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline
* 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience
* Understanding of Managed Service Provider (MSP) theory and practice
* 5 years of management experience
* Demonstrated ability to meet strategic HR objectives and build strong relationships
* Proven track record of leadership skills
* Ability to multi‑task, prioritise and manage time effectively
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
* High degree of adaptability and flexibility to change
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internet savvy
