SEN Tutor
Job Duties:
* Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create and implement tailored learning plans based on students' needs
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to help students achieve their academic goals
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Experience using assistive technology in teaching
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting in Oxfordshire. The tutor may need to travel to different locations within the region to deliver individualised lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
