An amazing, Swindon based International PLC, is looking for a Head of Financial Reporting and Operations.
The role is a mix of reporting, operations, process improvement, stakeholder and team management and strategic decision making.
The role reports into the Finance Director and offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy and operations within a well-established, forward-thinking business.
As a Qualified Accountant, you’ll play a key leadership role—owning financial reporting, driving financial governance, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to enable informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the timely and accurate delivery of financial and management accounts, ensuring compliance with Group reporting deadlines.
Take full ownership of statutory reporting processes, including preparation of year-end entity accounts and coordination of external audits.
Drive continuous improvement in financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational finance processes.
Produce and analyse weekly and monthly statutory cash flow reports, highlighting variances against forecasts and historical performance.
Oversee the integrity and optimisation of financial systems and controls, including the successful integration of acquisitions and new business units.
Provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support strategic and commercial decision-making across the business.
Monitor stock levels and cash flow performance, delivering real-time insights to inform Group-level actions.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering professional growth and capability at all levels.
Act as a strategic finance partner to the Board and senior leadership team, influencing key business decisions with credible financial expertise.

You will be:
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing finance teams
* Confident working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—ideally within a Group structure
* Excellent communicator—able to influence at all levels, including the Board
* Commercially astute with a continuous improvement mindset
* Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
