Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking to expand your skills within a global organisation? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our collaborative and supportive team based in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic business environment where your expertise will be valued.
What you’ll be doing:
* Accurately process purchase and sales invoices, including complex sales entries
* Perform daily bank reconciliations across multi-currency accounts
* Handle and resolve finance-related queries
* Manage credit control activities
* Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
* Oversee weekly supplier payments
* Reconcile company credit cards and manage expense claims
* Liaise with our external accountant and support year-end audits
* Provide financial support to internal projects as needed
* Carry out general administrative and ad hoc finance tasks
What we’re looking for:
* AAT qualified with practical experience in a finance role
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Proficient in accounting software (Sage 50 and Xero preferred)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience working with multi-currency accounts is a plus
* Ability to identify and escalate potential financial risks
* You must already have the right to work in the UK
