Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, interactive lessons. Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum activities. Provide 1:1 or small-group support to children who need extra encouragement. Encourage positivity, curiosity, and confidence in every learner. Help create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor pupil progress and offer valuable feedback to staff. Uphold safeguarding and promote pupils’ wellbeing at all times. Requirements for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable). A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils achieve their best.
