Job Description
CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT, delivering schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in Kent & Sussex. Recently renewed for seven years, CMDP is preparing for an ambitious investment program, increasing project volume and size. Effective risk management is crucial, and the Head of Risk will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a suitable risk management framework.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement an enterprise risk management strategy for CMDP
* Ensure risk management processes and policies are appropriate and followed
* Support staff at all levels in risk management implementation
* Build relationships with stakeholders including CMDP management, parent companies, Southern Water, and project teams
* Monitor compliance and develop risk reporting and key risk indicators at project and organizational levels
Qualifications
* Knowledge of risk management procedures, practices, and techniques
* Understanding of project controls such as planning, budgeting, change control, earned value
* Ability to establish relationships with senior stakeholders
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in MS Office
