Your role This is a diverse role where you will gain exposure to prescription screening and act as responsible pharmacist as part of a rota in our dispensary. You will work with other Pharmacists, Accuracy Checking Technicians and Dispensary Assistants. The key responsibilities of this role include: Responsible Pharmacist on Rota for the registered premises. Accuracy and clinical checking of prescriptions for wide specialist areas of interest including oncology, immunotherapy, rare disease states. Coordinating and planning the dispensary activity and supporting the wider team. Procurement and management of supplies of compounded and specialist medications with support. Supporting the patient services team in giving advice to patients, triaging clinical decisions and following clinical pathways with further support from a wider team of pharmacist and nurse specialists.
