Academics are currently recruiting Humanities Teachers on behalf of a network of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire (East & West). We offer a range of roles to fit around your preferences - from flexible daily supply to part-time, full-time, and long-term positions. Opportunities are available immediately, from Easter, and for September 2026 starts.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
* Subjects may include History, Geography, and Religious Studies
* Adapt to different school environments with confidence and professionalism
* Follow school behaviour policies and ensure a positive learning atmosphere
* Opportunities to build long-term placements if desired
Ideal Applicant:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in your subject specialism
* Strong classroom management skills
* Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
* Passionate about teaching and supporting student progress
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
