Quality Management Specialist
Morson is looking for a Quality Management Specialist for an aerospace client based in Birmingham.
Purpose
Ensure that all CAMO activities are monitored by the CAMO Quality system and provide assurance of compliance to the Airworthiness Manager Military Flying.
Responsibilities
* Assurance of CAMO personnel competence
* Assurance of all Core and non-Core CAMO tasks, processes and procedures
* Assurance of CAME compliance with Regulation
* CAMO audit activity
* Provide assurance of continued compliance with MAA approval of the Mil CAM
* Verify and validate procedures and changes to the procedures within the CAME
* Use product sampling and sample checks
* Coordinate across applicable organizations, including Maintenance organization(s) (Forward and Depth or Line and Base), Delivery Team(s) and all CAMO activity
* Ensure that all aspects of compliance are checked annually, including sub‑contracted activities, as a single exercise or subdivided over the annual period in line with a scheduled plan
* Assurance of Alternative Acceptable Means of Compliance, Waivers and Exemption (AWE) submissions and management
* Assurance that maintenance activity conducted by Maintenance organizations is adequate for maintaining the Continuing Airworthiness of their Air Systems through Maintenance Organisation audits and monitoring of audit programmes
* Monitor subcontracted CAMO tasks and ensure documented agreements are in place to describe and control the sub‑contracted activity; explicitly name the department and the CAMO
* Define responsibilities of the department on behalf of the CAMO and the post title of the person responsible for delivery
* Define number and competence of personnel committed to these tasks to the satisfaction of the CAMO
* Define process by which changes to the resourcing of tasks are communicated and agreed
* Be referenced in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)
* Coordinate regular Corrective Action meetings attended by the Military Continuing Airworthiness Manager and Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager to review progress of remedial action of non‑conformances and agree extensions to individual finding timescales where justified; provide meeting reports to the AM and escalation of any increase or change in risk identified
