Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading Top 100 accountancy practice to recruit a Share Schemes Tax Manager for their Bristol office. As a valued member of the Share Schemes team, you’ll work closely with colleagues at all levels—from Partners to trainees—helping clients design and deliver innovative employee share plans and incentive arrangements. The client base is diverse and exciting, spanning family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and fast-growing, innovative companies.

Responsibilities
* Meeting with clients to understand their business and incentive needs and supporting them with tailored solutions.
* Assisting with the design and implementation of new employee incentive schemes.
* Advising on the tax treatment of share schemes including EMI options, HMRC tax-advantaged share plans, and growth shares.
* Drafting supporting legal documentation for the implementation of incentive structures.
* Helping clients with HMRC reporting and share scheme compliance.
* Supporting due diligence projects on employment-related securities matters.
* Conducting research and preparing proposals for new work.
* Supporting clients with EIS advance assurance applications and advising on EIS-related tax implications.
Qualifications
* Part or newly CTA qualified; legal qualifications with exposure to share incentives will also be considered.
* Strong organisational, communication and project management skills.
* The ability to research tax technical issues and present findings clearly.
* Good report and proposal writing skills, with the ability to present work professionally to both colleagues and clients.
