This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a diverse, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy, known for lending their expertise to the infrastructure, transport, and environmental landscapes. They are looking for a talented, experienced Senior Drainage Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of experts, based in the multicultural, exciting Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
Produce drainage and highways designs in relation to the relevant Section Agreements (namely, S104, S38, and S278)
Prepare technical assessments and other documents for new developments
Check and amend technical drawings and reports for submission
Support colleagues and other stakeholders in their comprehension of technical concepts
Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Manage projects, ensuring work is undertaken within budget and timeframes, to the highest of standards
Liaise closely with clients and Project Managers regarding project delivery
Ensure industry standards and regulations are complied with at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering or a similar, relevant field
Extensive experience of working in an infrastructure design role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
Demonstrable experience of preparing designs (particularly in relation to the relevant Section Agreements, including S38, S278, S104)
Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including MicroDrainage, and/or Causeway Flow
Experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments and designing drainage strategies
Competent in your knowledge of relevant design standards, including Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, national planning policy, etc.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils 3D
Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (to include Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
A full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
Outstanding literacy and numeracy skills
Prior experience of managing stakeholders
