This is an exciting, fixed term maternity cover vacancy that will underpin the smooth, secure, safe, and efficient day to day delivery of the operational estate and facilities services at our Witney and Common Leys Farm campuses.
Responsibilities:
* Collecting and recording quality data to ensure that the departments performance reporting is accurate and to a good quality.
* Ensuring that remedial works identified by PPM/ Compliance/ Mandatory checks and tests are undertaken to a suitable standard and in a timely manner.
* Undertaking regular audits and reviews to ensure that the estate is maintained in a safe and suitable condition, and issues and risks are identified.
* Responsible for the administration and accurate record keeping of all work undertaken by contractors and in-house staff on the estate, including records required to meet legislative and statutory requirements
* Ensuring that planned preventative maintenance work completed undertaken by the Estates site teams is undertaken as required.
Essential Experience:
* Excellent knowledge of building management systems (BMS), maximising efficiencies in space usage and utilities consumption, estates compliance legislation, and lead the on-site Estates delivery teams on the Witney and Common Leys farm campuses in the implementation of best practices.
* Lead the preparation, prioritisation, co-ordination and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance to a high quality and in a timely manner, and management of contractors.
* Excellent communication skills, possess good IT skills, and be experienced in managing teams.
* Must have previous experience within an Estates/ Facilities Management role,
Desirable Experience:
* The successful candidate will ideally have a degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management/ Building Surveying or related discipline and relevant experience.
* Knowledge of developing and managing Helpdesk SLA's and KPIs, and a NEBOSH/ IOSH qualification.
* Experience within an education or health environment.
