Type: Temporary for 12 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £15.75 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: Glasgow, GL1
Adecco is working with an educational establishment in Glasgow seeking Student Experience Helpdesk Officers to start immediately.
You will be the primary face-to-face contact for students on campus, suitable for someone with a strong customer service background. Experience in Higher Education is advantageous.
Main duties include:
1. Being the primary contact for student enquiries, providing a friendly welcome in person, by phone, or email.
2. Providing advice on routine issues, escalating complex issues as needed.
3. Offering initial advice on queries like registration, issuing student cards, or how to register with a doctor or open a bank account.
4. Performing other duties as directed by the Head of Student Support and Development.
About you:
1. Relevant experience or a qualification at HNC level with administrative experience.
2. Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
3. Experience in customer service, reception, or client-facing roles.
4. Strong customer care skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
6. Excellent organization and communication skills.
