Job Responsibilities
* Work as part of a nursery team caring for babies and children up to age 5.
* Engage in daily adventures with children through interactive play, activities, reading, and supporting their curiosity through the learning curriculum.
* Communicate daily with parents about their child's activities.
* Create a caring and supportive environment where children feel safe and looked after.
* Develop play and learning opportunities that support children's development.
* Ensure child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
* Collaborate with your Assessor, including attending all required training for your formal qualification.
* Manage your time effectively to complete coursework within deadlines.
* Participate actively in appraisals, one-to-ones, and request supervision to support your development.
* Reflect on and utilise new ideas and feedback to enhance learning and development.

Qualifications and Experience
* Commitment to completing your Apprenticeship.
* Maths and English GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2; willingness to complete if not already held.
* Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential (e.g., Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, etc.).
* Passion for making learning engaging and fun for children.
* Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
* Effective communication techniques with children and adults.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
