Senior Client Services Partner at Harrow Council
Job Title: Outreach Worker
Location: Forward Drive, Harrow, HA3 8NT (London Borough of Harrow)

Working Arrangement: Office-based
Pay Rate: £20.57 per hour (PAYE)
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a dedicated Outreach Worker for a full-time, office-based role. The position operates on a temporary basis and involves delivering services both from the office and directly at client locations.
Key Requirements:
* Valid business car insurance
* Active DV clearance
* Consistent access to a personal vehicle
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of rough sleepers and single homeless applicants, ensuring support needs are met and clients can sustain tenancies.
* Collaborate with teams like RAMPH to assess needs and guide clients to appropriate services.
* Act as the main contact for allocated individuals, maintaining records and reporting data.
* Create tailored action plans with coordinators to secure suitable housing and support.
* Liaise with welfare departments to ensure benefit access.
* Support homelessness applications through close coordination with relevant teams.
About you:
* Understanding of key homelessness legislation and housing-related benefits
* Experience working directly with people in high-stress situations
* Awareness of diverse needs across Harrow’s communities
* Clear, calm communication and strong interpersonal skills
