The Role
As the Year 1/2 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a settled mixed-age class, delivering high-quality teaching that supports strong foundations in phonics, literacy, numeracy, and social development.
This is more than a standard long-term placement. You will become an integral part of the school community, with the opportunity to create continuity for pupils, build meaningful relationships, and see the real impact of your teaching over time.

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Key Stage 1 teacher who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine passion for early learning.
You will ideally have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1
* Strong and confident phonics knowledge and delivery, such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds
* The ability to plan engaging, well-structured lessons that support all learners
* A proactive, adaptable, and reflective approach to teaching
* A commitment to building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
