About the Job
UMR seeks a qualified, non-tenure track instructor with significant interest in supporting student learning in a high-contact model inside and outside of the classroom and lab. This role will work collaboratively and creatively with established faculty, teaching anatomy and physiology and introductory biology courses for health sciences undergrad students. This instructor will have experience in implementing pedagogical strategies and be prepared to teach undergrad courses in biology and student-focused courses, such as first-year Cornerstone or senior Capstone courses. Duties include collaborative and independent preparation and team-taught and individual delivery of course content, helping prepare and teach lab sessions, grading, assisting in ordering lab supplies, supervising undergrad teaching assistants, holding weekly hours JustASK hours, etc. This annually renewable position is teaching-focused with the expectation of 90% teaching and 10% service.
This role is expected to work in-person in Rochester, Minnesota. This role is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. This position is contingent upon enrollment.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience
