Your experience as an embedded Architect is required to join an innovative healthcare software company dedicated to leveraging technology for the greater good. Your role will be somewhat of a DevOps Architect who is adept at both strategic planning and hands-on execution. In this role, you will spend 60-70% of your time focusing on design, documentation, and architectural reviews, with the remaining 30-40% dedicated to hands-on technical work. The ideal candidate will have a strong DevOps background, however, has definitely moved on since, and have the ability to lead multiple projects independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Architectural Design & Documentation (70%)
o MAIN - Design and document infrastructure and deployment processes using Confluence.
o Lead the migration of clusters, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
o Develop comprehensive architectural designs without requiring detailed guidance.
o Conduct architectural reviews of current designs to ensure they meet best practices and company standards.
* Hands-On Work (30%):
o Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
o Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure environments.
o Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including EKS Fargate and EKS with managed nodes.
o Utilise Terraform/Terragrunt for infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
o Implement GitOps practices using FluxCD and Kustomize.
* Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical leadership across multiple projects, guiding teams towards successful delivery.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architectural strategies with business goals.
To be clear, this is NOT a role for a DevOps Engineer with some architecture experience. This is for an out-and-out Architect, who perhaps has come from a DevOps background, who can get their hands dirty where need be.
If you are an Architect who requires little-to-no hand holding, with a knack for technology and making a difference within healthcare, apply now for the full details...
