This post is to support ophthalmology, Maxiofacial and Ear nose and throat clinic.
The housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work along side the Nursing team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, a functional working environment and adequate stock levels for units with a high turn over of patients requiring a high volume of stock.
* To maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all clinical equipment,
* To ensure all equipment and the clean room / Mops room environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
* Maintain clinic equipment in good working order and liaise with Ebme for repair of faulty equipment. Ensure pat testing of all equipment is up to date.
* Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
* Ensuring adequate stock levels in high turn over units. Reporting any issues with stock.
