Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an innovative, inspirational, and visible leader with advanced skills in operational delivery, transformation, and partnership working. As a senior operational leader, you will have experience in driving performance and service improvements within a large, complex healthcare organization. You should have a track record of delivering sustained change across organizational boundaries, leading innovation, and managing service improvements that prioritize patient care within tight financial constraints.
We are seeking to appoint an Executive Director of Operations responsible for all aspects of operational performance across our Business Units, ensuring quality standards and good governance. This includes maintaining a clear line of assurance from ward to board, managing risks, and overseeing Deputy Directors, General Managers, and teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive as a full voting board member, you will be accountable for achieving trust-based and regulatory performance metrics.
