At Sport Savvy, we are passionate about inspiring the next generation through sports. We run after-school clubs, holiday camps, and more across local primary schools, offering a variety of sports coaching opportunities. Our goal is to provide children with engaging and active experiences, helping them develop teamwork, confidence, and a love for sport.
The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join our team and assist after-school clubs including Football, Dodgeball, Multi-Sports and Athletics. You will be coaching in primary schools across the Woodford/Buckhurst Hill area.
As a coach, you will be responsible for delivering fun, engaging, and safe sessions that inspire children to achieve their best. There is potential to increase your hours with additional responsibilities such as morning clubs, lunch clubs, PE lessons, and holiday camps, based on your performance and feedback from school staff.
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist engaging, age-appropriate sports sessions for children (Football, Dodgeball, Multi-Sports, Gymnastics and Athletics).
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children during sessions.
* Inspire and motivate children to participate and improve their skills.
* Work collaboratively with other coaches to deliver high-quality sessions.
* Always maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Applicants must have:
* Level 1 or Higher Sports qualification
* Enhanced DBS check.
* First Aid qualification (or willingness to gain before the start date).
* Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to gain before the start date).
* Coaching experience (working with children is preferred).
* A valid driving licence or ability to travel confidently using public transport.
