Overview
Security Officer – Draycott. Shifts: 4 on 4 off - 12 hours shifts - Am, Pm and Pm - Am. Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour. Temp to perm position for the right candidate.
Our client based in Draycott is looking for a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises and personnel.
* Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety will be instrumental in ensuring the protection of client's assets.
* Conduct regular rounds to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
* Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance.
* Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
* Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
* Implement security measures to protect property against theft, vandalism, and illegal activity.
* Operate systems to observe activities within the premises.
* Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in case of emergencies or incidents.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
* Knowledge of techniques.
* Ability to operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarms.
* Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
