Our client is seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join a well-established Architectural Practice based in Slough. The successful candidate will work within the residential sector, handling projects ranging from medium to large scale. The role involves working on numerous London-based projects, including high-rise residential, housing developments, and mixed-use schemes. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
Responsibilities:
1. Investigate project briefs, materials, and construction products/systems.
2. Refine concept and detail designs using Revit, CAD, and manual techniques under the guidance of the project lead.
3. Develop technical designs and production information with guidance from the project lead.
4. Incorporate technical information and regulatory requirements into design and production drawings.
5. Collaborate with external design team members and stakeholders as necessary.
6. Participate in in-house/external continuing professional development (CPD) activities, record evidence, and document professional experience as required by RIBA.
7. Shadow and observe activities within the practice to broaden professional experience and meet Part 3 examination requirements.
8. Contribute to studio improvement initiatives or provide assistance as needed.
9. Proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit.
10. Produce coherent and well-developed architectural designs.
11. Maintain an accurate and diligent work ethic.
12. Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
13. Demonstrate good organizational skills.
Qualifications:
* Masters in Architecture (M.Arch).
* Knowledge of Revit, CAD systems, 3D modelling, and visualization software.
