Role and Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint an experienced individual to lead the Crown Estate & Hydraulic Modelling Teams in our Brighton & Peterborough offices. The majority of the team is located in the Brighton office where the opportunity is located. This is a unique and challenging opportunity at an exciting moment in our industry.
* Line Manager to the Crown Estate & Hydraulic Modelling Teams in our Brighton & Peterborough offices
* Effective leader to promote and deliver strategy objectives
* Project Director on allocated projects
* Work with the business development team, making a significant contribution to develop the order portfolio in the Brighton & Peterborough offices
* Providing sound technical and commercial advice to project teams
* Member of the AG Management team and jointly responsible for the overall performance of the AG
* Provide strategic leadership to your team
* Guide your team to excellent financial management
* Work with the business development and sector directors to develop order and sales portfolio
* Provide best in practice people management
Qualifications & Experience
You will have a proven ability to effectively lead teams and influence at senior levels. You will be able to demonstrate a sound technical and commercial awareness with your background showing the following:
* Relevant degree level qualification
* A track record of success within hydraulic modelling or infrastructure organisations in a leadership role managing teams of technical staff to deliver a portfolio of projects
* Ability to recognise and foster the required relationships in order to position the business
* Extensive experience in the maritime and infrastructure sectors
* Effective and proven leadership skills
* Ability to influence, convince and partner with key internal stakeholders and colleagues to achieve broader collaboration and shared strategy goals
Desirable
* Experience in hydraulic modelling or experience in the marine minerals market
