THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join Pour Moi on a 1-year fixed term contract (FTC) as a Junior Buyer in the Holiday Shop department.

Based in Brighton, our teams in buying, design, technical, merchandising, marketing, and sales support our partnerships with M&S, Next, Very, and Bare Necessities. We forecast an annual turnover of £36 million, positioning us as a leading lingerie and swimwear brand.

What you’ll be doing:
Main responsibilities
* Develop collections that surpass customer expectations and meet sales and profit targets by sourcing products aligned with Pour Moi’s vision and strategy.
* Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, and Technical teams to manage the entire buying lifecycle from concept to trading, including sales monitoring and risk/opportunity analysis.
* Manage product development of new collections, working with Design & Technical teams to ensure innovation and trend alignment. Identify new categories, source, and develop factories as needed.
* Line manage and develop the Student Buyers Admin Assistant.
Position Requirements:
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the Holiday shop product range excites and meets customer demands, balancing trends, innovation, and commerciality.
* Possess in-depth customer and market knowledge of Pour Moi and the Holiday shop sector to influence buying decisions.
* Ensure critical path milestones are met, aligning with sampling lead times and departmental strategies.
* Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and pricing strategies, presenting insights to the team.
* Display creative flair and a strong understanding of the Pour Moi brand, trends, and product development.
* Build ranges considering brand strategy, customer habits, market routes, trends, sales history, profitability, fit, pricing, margins, and competitor activity.
* Present ranges for management approval, ensuring timely sign-off processes.
* Cost and negotiate products to meet margin targets, working closely with suppliers and technical teams to understand cost implications.
* Develop relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of ranges.
* Manage and develop the Admin Assistant, overseeing workload and supplier critical paths.
* Support wholesale strategy and analyze sales across channels.
* Assist with sample management, approvals, and photo shoot preparations.
* Build effective cross-functional relationships internally and externally.

* Proficient in Excel, Word, and internal systems.
