As a Maths Teacher, you will be at the heart of helping students build confidence, sharpen their analytical thinking, and develop a genuine appreciation for mathematics. Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
Prepare students effectively for examinations and assessments
Nurture problem-solving skills and mathematical confidence across all ability levels
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely and meaningful feedback
Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of your class
Maintain high standards of classroom management and a positive learning culture
Collaborate with colleagues on departmental planning and curriculum development
Support the academic and personal growth of every student in your care
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
Classroom experience teaching Maths is desirable, though newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply
Confident classroom management skills and a proactive, professional attitude
The ability to inspire and motivate students across a range of abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new application)
