Our Tech Stack
* Python powers our back-end, with MySQL Aurora as our primary database. We use SQLAlchemy for ORM and GraphQL for API access.
* API-First Platform: Engineers should be comfortable working with and extending GraphQL APIs.
* AWS is our cloud provider. Familiarity with AWS is a plus, and we know there’s great Python and AWS talent in South Africa.
* React is our go-to for new front-end development. Experience with PHP or Angular is helpful but not required—our team can cover those gaps.
* DevOps Exposure: Not required, but T-shaped engineers with some DevOps skills are always appreciated. We have a dedicated platform team for infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
* Design, build, and deliver features across our stack, with a focus on back-end but opportunities for front-end work.

* Help define and uphold engineering best practices.
